Ordering food just became easier for St. Paul’s Bethesda Hospital. Patients can view the cafeteria menu and order room service through a tablet, twincities.com reports.

Officials say patient food requests entered through the MyChart Bedside app will have to be approved by a doctor.

"We are trying to get the patients involved in their care as much as possible, so that they're knowledgeable," Doug Roszell, a clinical "informaticist" with HealthEast—parent company of Bethesda—told the website.
