Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI, solved the problem of serving foods that appeal to the facility's large population of South Asians by contracting with specialty foodservice company Cafe Spice, reports Bloomberg Businessweek. The rapidly growing firm has a branded partnership with Hurley's foodservice provider, Sodexo, which now brings in frozen Indian dishes that are then served in a branded kiosk outlet in the cafeteria.

The Cafe Spice brand is currently in 17 onsite locations ranging from colleges like New York University, B&I sites like Morgan Stanley and medical centers like Hurley, as well as 400 other cafeterias as an unbranded part of the menu mix.
