McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City, Mich., is inviting local food trucks to its campus to provide meals to hospital employees and visitors after the hospital cafeteria had to reduce its hours due to lack of workers, ABC 12 reports

Because of the staffing shortage, the hospital cafeteria will be closed each evening this week. Employees and visitors will instead be able to purchase items from the food trucks.

The hospital says it is actively working on filling the open positions.

Staffing remains an issue at foodservice operations across the country as things ramp back up following pandemic restrictions.
