Hudson Regional Hospital in Seacaucus, N.J., has dedicated its community garden to a chef who worked in the hospital and passed away in 2018, ABC 7 NY reports.

Wilfred "Freddie" Orozco planted the garden at the hospital 10 years ago and would use herbs and produce grown on site in hospital meals.

The garden was left untended after he passed, but volunteers brought it back to life this summer and named it after Orozco. Hospital staff have gone back to sourcing fresh herbs from the garden, which is also open to the greater Seacaucus community.
