The cafeteria of Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA, has become a destination dining spot for area seniors looking for nutritious meals in a pleasant setting (a retired piano player living in the area provides lunchtime music) at affordable prices, reports NPR. Fauquier is one of about a dozen U.S. hospitals certified by an organization called Planetree that sets strict standards for patient-centered care, a trend that looks to extend the healing mission of healthcare facilities past the traditional clinical disciplines and into areas like nutrition and sustainable dining.
