Cura Hospitality is recognizing its nutrition staff this week in honor of National Healthcare Food Service Week which runs from Oct 1-7.

At Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook, Pa., staff received a variety of treats throughout the week, including a pizza party and ice cream.

In addition, the nutrition teams at Kane Scott Community Living Center in Scott Township, Pa., and Indiana Regional Medical Center each received themed shirts to wear. Staff were also treated to a complimentary lunch and more fun surprises throughout the week.

The foodservice provider has had a busy couple of months. It recently rolled out a comfort cart program at Allegheny General Hospital and also launched a new safety salad bar initiative over the summer
