Chefs cook up healthy cuisine for new Kaiser Permanente hospital

Opening a new hospital entails so much more than bricks and mortar.

That's just the beginning.

While Kaiser Permanente's Westside Medical Center nears completion -- the building itself is scheduled for completion in summer 2012 -- it will take another year to bring the facility online.

Behind the scenes, Kaiser Permanente's executive chef Greg Gates has a few things cooking.
