BLACKSBURG, Va.—Burger '37, the newest addition to Virginia Tech’s dining halls, opened earlier this week in Squires Student Center.

Burger '37, a $501,000 investment, has been under construction since October 2013. However, the concept for the restaurant has been in the works for almost four years.

Tech’s administration first decided to build the restaurant after hearing from over 3,000 students surveyed about their dining preferences.
