U. of Buffalo new dining hall aims for restaurant-style service

Renovation cost $12 million and brought eight mini-restaurants to dining hall.

April 11—After $12 million and 16 months of construction, the new dining hall at the University of Buffalo has opened as a state-of-the-art restaurant-style cafeteria.

Eight mini-restaurants are arranged in a circle, with pastas, calzones, stir-fries, noodle soups and much more made to order. Restaurant flavors include Asian wok dishes, Brazilian churrascaria barbecue, vegetarian, comfort food, pizzeria and desserts.
