May 6—A food truck operated by Dining Services at Princeton University will make its first appearance on campus in late August and is intended for use mainly at athletic events.

According to Director of Dining Services Stu Orefice, the food truck will primarily be used at lacrosse games and may also be used for additional athletic functions. The items that the truck will offer will “vary upon the event,” Orefice said.

While an outside company is responsible for the construction of the vehicle, the completed truck will solely be a University operation. In addition to stationing the truck at sporting events, the vehicle might be available for tailgates and other catered functions. Since Dining Services staff will operate the truck, Orefice noted that it is possible that student groups could request the truck for campus events.
