Lagardère Travel Retail, the parent company of airport travel restauranteur and retailer Paradies Lagardère, has acquired airport dining company Tastes on the Fly.

The purchase now makes Paradies Lagardère the second largest operator of airport retail and food and beverage in North America, with annual sales surpassing $1.5 billion.

As part of the acquisition, Paradies Lagardère will expand its footprint to more than 90 airports. Its offerings will now include over 100 brand partners and proprietary concepts, including full service, fast-causal and markets.

“We are very excited to finalize this acquisition and welcome such an impressive organization as Tastes on the Fly to Paradies Lagardère,” Gregg Paradies, president and CEO of Paradies Lagardère, said in a statement. “Our Dining Division is an incredibly talented and successful team and adding Tastes on the Fly’s outstanding team will further elevate our efforts to deliver the very best restaurant offerings to our airport partners and traveling guests across North America.”

Tastes on the Fly operates 25 concepts over five major airports, including San Francisco, Denver, New York’s JFK, Boston and Vancouver.

The integration of the two companies will begin immediately, according to a statement.
