Metz Culinary Management is serving a selection of dishes from around the world as part of its latest concept.

The foodservice provider launched Global Kitchen at select healthcare, college and corporate dining locations in August.

Recipes for the new concept were developed by Metz chefs from diverse backgrounds and include dishes like toasted tikka masala, plant-based arepas and Jamaican jerk pork.

Metz chefs also received training from Certified Master Chef Ron DeSantis during recipe development.

“Our chefs studied culinary regions around the world extensively to identify unique regional cultural dishes, especially those that are plant-forward,” Hannah Alvarez, healthcare division chef for Metz, said in a statement. “This research allowed our team to create authentic and exciting recipes that we hope our guests will find delicious and healthful.”

Global Kitchen is the latest initiative launched by Metz. Earlier this fall, it also debuted a number of new programs aimed at college students and rolled out a stealth nutrition strategy for its K-12 division.
