Schools are significantly more likely to get menu ideas from trade shows/conferences (63%) than any other segment. B&I (52%) and colleges (46%) are significantly more likely to get ideas from restaurants. Operators in locations with less than $500,000 in annual food and beverage purchases are significantly more likely to say they get menu ideas from cook books than those with higher annual food and beverage purchases (40%).
