April 16—A new all-you-care-to-eat program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has introduced five experienced food service professionals who are ensuring a high-quality on-campus dining experience.

These “front-of-house managers” serve as resources for diners exploring the new options on offer from Bon Appétit Management Co., which manages the foodservice at Baker House at the university. Among their responsibilities, the front-of-house managers establish signage, update menus and submit payroll. Their most important role is to interpret student preferences to best serve diners.
