FoodService Director takes home Jesse H. Neal Award

The brand was recognized for best overall art direction at the 2018 awards ceremony.

FoodService Director on Thursday received a 2018 Jesse H. Neal Award, recognizing the media brand for its excellence among business-to-business publications.

FSD took home top honors for best overall art direction, based on its 2017 body of work.

“We are honored to be recognized for our excellence in journalism, design and the platforms we have created to provide information to our audiences,” says Sarah Lockyer, senior vice president of content for FSD parent Winsight Media. “Restaurant Business and FoodService Director are clearly industry-leading, and it’s a testament to the entire team.”

FSD sister brand Restaurant Business was also recognized at the awards ceremony, receiving honors in the categories of best website, best single issue of a magazine and best art direction for a single issue of a magazine. RB’s spinoff publication, Fast, was awarded best art direction for a single article or cover.
