2014 Revenues: $39,000,000

In 2014, Sterling Spoon introduced a quarterly celebration/promotional strategy that focuses on on limited time only product offerings in its cafes, leveraging its commercial restaurant expertise to create "new news" for guests and centering on on the seasons and ingredients that are at the peak of ripeness and freshness. All the promos increased check average, participation sales from a range of 15% to 40% throughout the system.

Also in 2014 the company continued its “best in class” employee development program to ensure that its infrastructure is prepared for growth and its staff committed to the company’s guiding vision, values and principles. In its recruiting it looks for individuals who consistently display an “ownership” mentality.
