Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, has become the first university in the country to have a dining hall that is completely gluten-free.

At Prentice Cafe, Kent State students can choose from a wide range of gluten-free items as well as a variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

In an article on the university’s website, Director of Dining Services Rich Roldan said that he hopes Prentice Cafe will make dining on campus a little easier for students with dietary restrictions.

“Students have enough to worry about—they should not have to worry about their food being safe to eat,” Roldan said. “It is important they can eat in a safe environment, which is why we decided to make Prentice Cafe a gluten-free dining location.”

The cafe is open to all students and faculty Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
