District uses family-style meals to cut back on long lunch lines

Franklin High School in Franklin, Va., has begun serving family-style meals to help alleviate long lunch lines, WTKR reports. 

Once a month, students skip the cafeteria line and head straight to the tables, where food has already been laid out. 

Officials say that the family-style meals allow students to take time and enjoy their meal because their lunch period is only 20 minutes long.
