AHF taps David Reeves as new president-elect
The director of hospitality services at Edward-Elmhurst Health starts his term as president-elect in August.
David Reeves, director of hospitality services at Edward-Elmhurst Health, in Elmhurst, Ill., has been voted president-elect for the Association of Healthcare FoodService.
Reeves—who also served as co-chairman of the 2015 AHF annual conference—will start his term as president-elect in August 2016, and his term as president in August 2017.
“Chief among my goals is to further advance self-operated healthcare foodservice as industry best practice by enhancing the resources and tools we offer; providing expanded operator support; and increasing our advocacy and awareness initiatives,” Reeves said in a prepared statement.
The association’s new board members also include treasurer-elect Cynthia Roberts, food services/clinical nutrition manager at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Illinois; and Candace Johnson, system director of nutrition services at Washington’s Swedish Health Services, was elected secretary of the board, according to a release.
Bill Marks, director of food and nutrition services for Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis—as well as Mary Fonville, director of support services for Texas Health Harris Methodist Azle—are the new directors at large.
