A group of Harvard students have brought President Drew Faust a petition signed by 7,000 individuals asking the university to switch to cage-free eggs, reports change.org. The school's dining services uses some eggs from cage-free suppliers but that lags the level of commitment achieved by similar schools such as Princeton, Yale, Brandeis and the University of Pennsylvania, according to the student activists behind the campaign.
