EDUCATION: BS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Currently taking classes towards a Masters in Business with an emphasis in Marketing
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: I was chief clinical dietitian for 8 years at Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly Maryland and was promoted to Food Service Director in the same facility. There, I participated in a re-engineering task force which realized $3.5 million in savings for the hospital. Later, I was promoted to Senior Manager for Nutrition Services for Sodexho in the Mid-Atlantic region and was responsible for providing technical expertise for 75 accounts.
Presently I am a Sodexho district manager for campus services; I manage $24-30 million in managed volume at four universities in the metro D.C. area. I serve as the membership chair for the African American Leadership Forum, one of Sodexho's diversity network groups . I am also an adjunct professor at Prince George's Community College and media spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association for Baltimore.
