Beginning this fall, students will have to pay 20 cents to get water or ice at Ball State University dining venues if they do not purchase any other items, reports the Ball State Daily News. It is still free if bundled with other purchases or if the customer brings a cup or container. Ball State Dining Services says the charge is needed to cover the cost of cups, lids and straws.
