Boston University's George Sherman Union food court has been designated a Certified Green Restaurant by the Green Restaurant Association, making it the "most eco-friendly dining spot in the state and the only such certified food court in the country," claims the BU Today campus paper. The GSU food court scored 210 points and a three-star rating, edging out Northeastern University's 196 points for its International Village Dining venue and Harvard Business School's 189 points for its Spangler Center.
