Metz Culinary Management has promoted Tony Russo to District Manager. In this role, he will oversee a number of independent schools and public school district accounts. Prior to his promotion, Russo served as a Senior Area Manager and General Manager at Richland (PA) School District.

“During his more than nine-year tenure with Metz, Tony has demonstrated an outstanding level of performance, embraced company values and exhibited excellent management skills,” says Jim Dickson, Senior Vice President of Education & Corporate Dining. “He has consistently delivered an exceptional level of service to our guests, clients and employees and his promotion is well-deserved.”

At Richland Schools, Russo’s General Manager responsibilities included client relations, guest satisfaction, staff training, financial management and the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives. He was promoted to Senior Area Manager in 2010.

Before joining Metz in 2004, Russo worked for Sodexho in various roles at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, King’s Family Restaurants and Crown American Corp.
