Local restaurant company Bartolotta Restaurants is in negotiations to take over operating onsite dining services in the U.S. Bank Center complex on the Milwaukee lakefront, reports the Milwaukee Business Journal. The building is potentially the centerpiece of a growing cluster of offices, including under-construction and planned buildings for Northwestern Mutual and Irgens that could eventually total up to 15,000 workers. The foodservice operation, still in the planning stages, is being modeled at least partially on the Foodlife concept in Chicago's Water Tower Place.
