Fund Established for Slain Caf Worker's Family

Co-workers of a slain cashier at the Farmers Insurance headquarters in Los Angeles have established a fund to help his family, reports Echo Park Patch. The employee, Juan Jose Barajas. 41, was killed in a drive-by shooting on December 17th.

He had worked at the Farmers Insurance cafeteria for 15 years, the last seven as an employee of Eurest Dining Services, which took over management of the operation in 2004. He leaves behind a wife and four children, aged 2 to 17.
