Broome County (NY) will operate a diner in the new Greater Binghamton Transportation Center, a bus terminal located in downtown Binghamton, because the federal funding that paid for most of the renovated building require an eatery on the premises, reports Gannett Pressconnects. The county had wanted to secure a private operator for the cafe, called the Twilight Diner, but the economics weren't attractive enough at the terms being offered, so Broome will self-operate until it can find a taker.
