Campbell Promotes FS Head, Names Successor

Campbell Soup Co. has promoted North American Foodservice President Sean Connolly to president of Campbell USA. Irene Chang Britt, formerly vice president and general manager of the sauces and beverages business unit, was named to succeed Connolly as head of North American Foodservice. The appointments are effective Dec. 1.

Connolly, who will be responsible for Campbell’s $3.7 billion U.S. soup, sauces and beverages business, joined the company in 2002. He will report to Denise Morrison, president of Campbell Soup’s North America soup, sauces and beverages businesses. Britt joined Campbell three years ago from Kraft Foods, where she served as senior vice president and general manager of the Salted Snacks Division.
