Avendra Signs Up Delaware North

Delaware North Companies, Inc. has selected the Avendra group purchasing organization (GPO) to supply procurement services at 28 of its parks, resorts, gaming and entertainment venues. Sites affected include high-profile locations such as the Tenaya Lodge, Yosemite Lodge, Ahwahnee in Yosemite, Harrison Hot Springs Spa and Resort in British Columbia, Grand Canyon, Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex and Wheeling Island Hotel, Racetrack & Gaming Center.

Under terms of the deal, the DNC locations will utilize a variety of Avendra’s procurement programs, including rooms operations, cleaning chemicals and sanitizing systems, engineering, golf agronomy and turf maintenance, golf pro shop and spa supplies.

Avendra provides procurement and supply chain management services to customers in various market segments. Clients include HMS Host, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Hyatt and Sunbelt Golf Corp. Its purchasing program involves more than 900 suppliers and manages $2.5 billion in volume.
