ASHFSA Names President-Elect, New Board Members

The American Society for Healthcare Food Service Administrators (ASHFSA) has named Denisa Cate, MS, RD, LDN, DHCFA, director of Food & Nutrition Services at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN, to the position of president-elect. She has been a member of ASHFSA since 2002, serving as national board director from 2006 to 2008. Cate’s goals are to work to increase membership, continue to build ASHFSA’s relationship with sister organizations such as ADA, HFM, and DMA, and to assist members in better managing their operations.

In addition, two new members have been named directors at large for the National Board of Directors. They are Raquel Bulford-Frazier, MS, RD, LD, DHCFA, CC, foodservice manager at La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Chicago, and Kimberly Norton, RD, LDN, DHCFA, foodservice director at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange County, CA.

Also, Deborah Bowen, MS, RD, director of healthcare marketing for U.S. Foodservice has been named ASHFSA Board of Directors Business Partner.
