Solo Cup Co. has named Robert Korzenski president/COO and a director. He had been the company’s executive vice president of sales & marketing. Korzenski succeeds Ronald Whaley, who resigned to spend more time with his family after overseeing the integration of SF Holdings, Inc. (Sweetheart Cup Co.) into Solo Cup following its acquisition in February 2004. Korzenski joined Solo Cup senior vice president through the SF Holdings acquisition. Previously, he had served as president/COO of Hoffmaster and The Fonda Group, Inc., both of which are now also part of Solo Cup. Before that, he served as vice president of operations and then vice president of sales & marketing for Scott Paper Co.
