Service America Group (formerly All Seasons Services) is opening a second location of its automated c-store concept Shop 24 in Columbus, OH, in partnership with Kroger grocery stores. SAG’s first Shop 24 unit opened at the end of 2005 on the campus of the State University of New York in Morristown. Shop 24 units are automated, unmanned units that vend up to 200 dry and refrigerated food and non-food products around the clock. They take both cash and credit/debit cards and dispense everything from refrigerated foods and dry goods to wireless communication cards, sundries and health-and-beauty products. Shop 24 was developed by the New Zealand firm VTL Group, Ltd., which holds a majority stake in Service America
