Peanut Butter Cream with Smoked Bacon and Honey Crisp Apple
YIELD: 8 appetizers

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 Tbsps. milk, or as needed
2 cups confectioners' sugar
½ lb. Bacon
1 ea. Honey Crisp apple, cut into 1/8 and cored and seeded
8 ceramic spoons, for serving

1. Place the butter and peanut butter into a medium bowl, and beat with an electric mixer.
2. Gradually mix in the sugar, and when it starts to get thick, incorporate milk one tablespoon at a time until all of the sugar is mixed in and the frosting is thick and spreadable. Beat for at least 3 minutes for it to get good and fluffy.
3. Cook your favorite bacon. Cut the bacon into ½ inch pieces. Slice the apple into thin wedges for garnish on the spoons.
4. With a piping bag pipe a rosette of peanut butter cream onto a ceramic spoon and garnish with a piece of the smoked bacon and a piece of the honey crisp apple.
