This photo appeared on a record, released some 20 or so years ago, and features a bass guitarist and keyboard player who has since become a prominent foodservice director. The band, known as the Kandy Kowboys, titled this album after the popular song, "Out Late on Saturday Night." The mystery Kowboy demonstrated obvious quality at an early age, playing local venues including the American Legion Hall.

Who is our mystery Kowboy? The first reader to guess the correct answer will win a uniquely illustrated history of noncommercial foodservice. E-mail guesses to [email protected] with "FM Mystery of the Month" in the subject line.
