INGREDIENTS:1 cup strawberry syrup
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 pints fresh strawberries, cleaned, quartered
Cracked black pepper, for garnish
Creme Fraiche or lightly sweetened real whipped cream, for garnishDIRECTIONS:1. Heat syrup and vinegar and simmer until reduced by half; cool. Reserve.
