Battle Creek, MI—Kellogg Co. is moving the Keebler cookie and cracker business it purchased in 2001 from Elmhurst, near Chicago, to its headquarters operations here.

Cudahy, WI—Pork processor Patrick Cudahy, Inc., has announced the retirement of President/COO Roger Kapella, effective June 1. he will be succeeded by Senior VP William Otis. Kapella, who had been president of the company since 1986, will remain chairman until the end of the year.

Ft. Worth, TX—Food safety products manufacturer Daydots has named Rob Heidemann vp-sales/business development. He had most recently served as assistant vp-sales for the institutional division of Ecolab.

Southfield, MI—Chef Solutions, the North American non-airline food business of Lufthansa Airlines, has been purchased by the Questor Partners Fund II LP investment firm. Chef Solutions provides perishable food products such as wet salads and baked goods to retail and foodservice clients under brand names like Orval Kent, Pennant, Yoder’s and La Francaise.

Houston—Sysco has promoted Senior VP Robert Cinkant to president/CEO of its Sysco HRI Supply, Ltd., unit in Kelowna, BC, succeeding Bill Redmond, who is retiring.

Dallas—TurboChef Technologies has acquired Enersyst Development Center, LLC, a food product solutions and food equipment technology research and development company.

Chattanooga, TN—Poultry company Koch Foods LLC has announced a $19 million expansion plan for its complex here.

Meriden, CT—Water filtration products manufacturer CUNO, Inc., has appointed Timothy Carney senior vp-Worldwide Water Group. He had been president/general manager of the U.S. Water Group.
