We have several independent residents in our main dining room who have some type of food allergy. To make sure that they receive the proper food we came up with different color order tickets for their specific food allergies. When servers take residents’ orders they know that for certain residents they have to use a certain color ticket. The cooks now know that the first person on that ticket has, for example, either an intolerance to garlic or is gluten free. You can make as many color tickets as you need, for whatever allergies/intolerance your residents may have.
