To educate and train foodservice professionals about food allergies and related issues, the Food Allergy & Analyphlaxis Network (FAAN) and the NRA have compiled a Food Allergy Training program. The bi-lingual video and manual includes several how-to demonstrations in food prep and service and a section on what to do in an emergency situation. Shirley Everett has been named Associate Vice Provost, Residential and Dining Enterprises at Stanford University. Formerly the director of dining services at Stanford, Everett will now oversee a $100 million operating budget that includes student housing, dining and support services.
