The tastes of tailgating are out of the parking lot. Many start with the classics, and then add fun twists and ethnic variations that are rapidly becoming guest favorites. Our Sweet and Spicy Glazed Baby Back Ribs are a can’t-lose, lip-smacking party favorite.

Ingredients

Baby back ribs, 1 slab – 3 lbs.
Salt – ¾ to 1 oz.
Pepper – To taste
Light brown sugar – ¼ oz.
Sweet paprika powder – ¾ Tbsp.
Lime juice – 1 Tbsp.
Heinz® Sweet and Spicy Garlic Chili Sauce – 2.5 oz.

Steps

  1. Remove membrane skin from lower side of baby back ribs. Rub ribs thoroughly with salt, pepper, brown sugar, paprika powder and lime juice on both sides.

  2. Cook in 280°F conventional oven (not convection), on sheet pan with wire rack for about 21⁄2 hours until tender.

  3. Brush with Heinz® Sweet and Spicy Garlic Chili Sauce and continue to cook, brushing frequently until sauce begins to caramelize.

  4. Plate and serve.
