Sirloin is browned with Lawry's® Touch of Sea Salt Asian Seasoning then stir-fried with snow peas, broccoli, onions, carrots, mushrooms and red chili for a healthy, lower sodium recipe.

Ingredients

8 oz sirloin steaks, trimmed and cut into strips
4 tsp Lawry's Touch of Sea Salt Asian Seasoning
2 tsp vegetable oil
8 oz snow peas
8 oz broccoli florets, blanched
2 oz red onions, julienned
4 oz carrots, julienned or matchstick
2 oz shiitake mushrooms, sliced
4 tsp Pepper, Red Crushed
4 tsp light soy sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup no salt added beef stock (or sub water)
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp Sesame Seeds, White
2 tbsp unsalted roasted cashew pieces
2 cups cooked brown rice

Steps

Combine beef strips with seasoning. Heat oil over high heat in wok or large sauté pan. Sear beef quickly until nicely browned. Remove beef from pan then add snow peas, broccoli, onion, carrots, mushrooms and red chili flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes more. Combine pineapple juice, soy, stock and cornstarch, mix well to thoroughly incorporate cornstarch. Add beef back to pan then slowly add liquid stirring well while pouring. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook 1-2 minutes. Serve over ½ cup brown rice. Garnish with toasted sesame and cashews
