The first farmers market on the University of Connecticut campus on July 12 proved to be a big success, reports the Mansfield-Storrs Patch. There were more than a hundred sales at the event, which took place from 11:30 to 2. It will be held during those times every Thursday until the start of the fall semester, when it will move to Fridays until the end of the growing season.
