The University of California-San Diego is converting a 1,830-sq.ft. storage space into a Dlush branded lounge concept. Dlush menus a variety of gourmet smoothies and other specialty beverages as its core offerings. The Southern California multi-unit has a number of units in area malls as well as one in a local church where it also offers some food selections. The UC-San Diego project is being handled by the Colkitt & Co. architectural firm and is expected to be completed in time for the opening of the fall 2013 semester.
