The State University of New York (SUNY) New Paltz has completed a dramatic facelift and enhanced the spectrum of dining options at its Hasbrouck Hall residential dining facility.

"There's something for everyone—and fresh is definitely the overarching theme," says Ralph Perez-Rogers, general manager for SUNY New Paltz's dining services provider, Sodexo. "Our new dining stations provide the ideal combination of nutrition, variety, and of course, fresh, delicious food."

Among the six new stations are...

Wild Mushroom, which features a menu serving vegan and vegetarian meals such as made-to-order salads, sandwiches and entrees, many using locally-sourced fruits and vegetables

360 Degrees Gril, an exhibition cooking station where students choose their own ingredients and then watch the chefs prepare it

Flying Star Diner, styled as an old-fashioned eatery with tile floors and metallic finishes, which provides all-day comfort foods and breakfast

Bella Trattoria features oven-baked pizza cooked on demand, an assortment of pasta and other bistro-style options and specials

Magellan's has an ever-changing menu with authentic recipes from different parts of the world

Basic Kneads offers breads and other baked goods like fresh pastries, soups, hot coffee, cereal, made-to-order subs and wraps.
