Students at Bowie State University gained a new dining option this fall—the Off the Leash food truck, so named for the Maryland school’s mascot, Butch the Bulldog.

Off the Leash, which serves up comfort food such as sandwiches and fries, is located outside of the school’s newest residence hall, but will rotate to different areas of campus down the road. In addition, it will be on hand during community events such as tailgates for Bowie State football games.

To boost excitement around the upcoming food truck, the foodservice department, which is run by Aladdin Campus Dining, put the truck’s name to a campus vote, and Off the Leash was declared the winner.
