New college café “Towers” over its predecessor
When classes for the fall 2016 session began in August, students at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMSU) had a brand-new all-you-care-to-eat dining facility to enjoy. The completely renovated nine-station Towers Cafe, managed by SEMSU’s dining services provider Chartwells, is a totally different dining experience from the facility it replaced, complete with new station concepts and menus.
And so far, it has only added to on-campus dining business, says Courtney Piper, resident district manager for Chartwells at SEMSU. “We have not seen a significant traffic decrease at any of our other locations,” she notes. “All locations have been very busy since the first week of classes started.”
Here’s a look at the new facility in pictures.
