Montana State University introduced students, staff and the Bozeman community at large to its newest dining facility, Rendezvous Dining Pavilion, during a grand opening event held last week.

Rendezvous, which cost $18.2M to develop, is 30,000 square feet and seats up to 830 diners, according to MSU News Service.

It’s also home to eight distinct dining stations: De La Mesa, a Mexican eatery; Asian cuisine-focused XO; European-inspired bakery One Eleven; the 89’er Diner; smoked meat-centric Forge 406; stone-fired pizza place Rosso; soup and salad concept Etcetera; and smoothie spot Razz.

The dining hall is focused on scratch preparations using local products and offers diners a bit of entertainment with their eats, housing ski and sports lounges and a 20-foot screen that athletic and other events will be projected onto.

Following the trend away from disposable plastic in college dining, Rendezvous’ One Eleven station will also serve up a resuable cup program.
