CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—After more than 8 months of negotiations, Lesley University’s food service workers have a new contract.

Working with restaurant union organizer Unite Here Local 26 since last March, 68 service employees at Lesley University organized a four-year contract with food service employer Bon Appétit. The service employees were working without a contract before the two sides ratified a contract on Friday, March 7. The contract will expire in March 2018.

Randy Wright said he and fellow employees are “much happier” and can clearly focus on their tasks now they’ve ratified a new contract with employer Bon Appétit.
