Healthy soul food focus of special event at N.C. State

On February 5th, North Carolina State University’s Talley Student Union hosted a Cooking with Soul demonstration that highlighted soul food with a healthy twist. The school’s NC State Dining department decided to create the flavorful versions of soul food cuisine with considerably less fat and sodium than the traditional versions in honor of February being Heart Healthy Month. Here are some images from that event.
