This week, Ryan Virgil will take on the executive chef and general manager responsibilities for Sodexo at Northeastern Junior College, in Sterling, Colo. Virgil has worked for Sodexo on the campus for the past three years.

“I’m always looking for ways to improve what we’re doing here and I’m going to provide the same great food and great service we’ve been providing for the last 17 years,” Virgil said in an article by the Journal-Advocate, a local news outlet.

Virgil succeeds Calvin Lee who is retiring after serving for 17 years as executive chef for Sodexo at the college. After preparing and serving an average of 6,500 student meals each week, the Journal-Advocate reports, Lee retires with plans to travel and start his own business in Northeastern Colorado.
