College Stadium Goes All iPad for Concessions POS

All 30 concession stands at Alabama State University's campus stadium has been outfitted with iPad-based POS that can monitor progress and sales in real time and doesn't depend on internet connections like traditional POS networks. Because of this, the system from vendor Revel continued to function during a power outage at a recent game. ASU, whose concessions is operated by contractor Gourmet Food Services, becomes the first stadium site with iPad-only POS, according to Revel.
